It’s been quite the month for creativity. Recently, I saw Paddington (which by the way is a wonderful little movie that all of you should see) and it got me interested in Marmalade. So, of course I had to try some Marmalade on bread (I tried it on Whole Grain and Seeds bread; delightful.) It was a nice rainy day when I photographed that little gem.
Yet, there was another rainy day where I wanted some salmon. At first I was going to have Tamari Soy sauce on my salmon, but when I reached for that I saw the Marmalade next to it.
I quickly got my salmon all ready to go on a pan and rubbed a hefty amount of the sweet goodness on it. Then I remembered that I recently learned sweet and spicy go entirely well together.
REACHES FOR CHILI PASTE.
I dabbed some on top of the Marmalade covered salmon as well as sprinkled some freshly cut chives over it. Threw it in the oven for 18 minutes. Took it out and let cool for a minute. Took a bite. Heavenly.
